Wall Street sees mixed performance as Nasdaq drops 1.4% and Netflix falls 8.6%

On Wall Street, the Nasdaq continued to decline, losing 1.7%, led by Netflix which fell more than 8.6%. The Dow Jones index rose 0.2% and the S&P 500 fell 0.8%. At 17:38, the Dow Jones index was up 0.4%, the S&P 500 down 0.3%, and the Nasdaq down 1%. Oil prices were up 0.5% with a barrel of oil priced at $83.20. Netflix was down 7% after weak revenue forecasts, while Shopify increased by more than 2%.

At 16:30, Wall Street markets opened with a mixed trend, with the Dow Jones rising 0.3%, the S&P 500 falling 0.1%, and the Nasdaq falling 0.5%. The S&P 500 was heading for its worst week in six months, with the Nasdaq falling 4% for the week. Oil prices, which had jumped earlier due to reports of an attack on Iran by Israel, were now down 0.2%, with a barrel of oil priced at $82.56.

Throughout the trading day, European stock markets saw declines, with Dax falling 0.8%, FTSE losing 0.7%, CAC falling 0.3%, and Eurostock falling 0.5%. Wall Street futures also showed a negative trend, with the Dow Jones down 0.2%, the S&P 500 down 0.4%, and the Nasdaq down 0.6%. The dollar exchange rate remained stable at NIS 3.86, while the price of a barrel of Brent oil increased 0.4% to $87.42 and the price of a barrel of crude oil increased 0.5% to $83.14. Gold prices remained stable at $3,397 per ounce.
