One wall in the clubhouse showcases the years the Yankees have won the World Series, with their most recent victory in 2009. Another wall displays individual player records such as Aaron Judge’s 62 home runs in 2022, Gerrit Cole’s 257 strikeouts in 2022, Mariano Rivera’s all-time record of 652 career saves, Andy Pettitte’s franchise-leading 2,020 career strikeouts, and Derek Jeter’s 3,465 hits, the most in Yankees history.
With a strong start to the season at 13-6, the Yankees are currently leading the AL East. After missing the postseason for the first time in six years last season, the team is determined to make a comeback in 2024.
