Celebrating 25 Years of the Office for Science and Society

Join Montreal Gazette’s Josh Freed as he engages in a lively conversation with Dr. Joe Schwarcz, Director of the McGill OSS, on the origins and accomplishments of the Office for Science and Society over the past 25 years. The event will feature intriguing discussions on the fun and challenges faced by the Office, along with entertaining demonstrations to showcase the OSS’s unique approach to science communication.

Mark your calendars for Thursday, May 23, 2024, for this special event. The evening will kick off with a reception at 6:30 PM, followed by the main event at 7 PM. The event will take place at the Otto Maass Chemistry Building at McGill University, located at 801 Sherbrooke Street, at the corner of Sherbrooke and University.

Please note that this event will be held in person only, with no virtual option available. However, the event will be recorded and made available for viewing after the live event. Registration is required to secure your spot for this engaging conversation between Josh Freed and Dr. Joe Schwarcz.
