Cary Police Department and first responders are currently dealing with a mental health crisis in a neighborhood Tuesday night. The crisis is taking place at a home on Overcup Oak Lane, where an individual is in need of urgent treatment. Police are working to safely remove the person from the home to receive the necessary care. Thankfully, there is no immediate threat to the surrounding community as the individual has confined themselves inside the house. Authorities are advising people to avoid the area while the situation is being handled.
