Although his agent denied reports of Aiyuk requesting a trade, he may not want to play on the fifth-year option and is looking for a more lucrative deal. If Samuel is traded, the team that acquires him would have two years and $52.8 million remaining on his three-year extension, which began before the 2023 season. Samuel had a productive season last year with 60 catches for 892 yards and a touchdown.
