Universal Orlando Resort is set to open a new “How To Train Your Dragon”-themed world in 2025 at the upcoming Universal Epic Universe theme park. The Isle of Berk will be one of five worlds featured at the new park, offering visitors a chance to experience the rugged and rocky world where Vikings and dragons coexist.
Visitors to the Isle of Berk can look forward to new rides, a live show, and the opportunity to fly on dragons. Hiccup’s Wing Gliders, a family thrill coaster, will give riders a bird’s-eye view of the park as they soar through the sky with characters Hiccup and Toothless. Guests can also meet and take photos with their favorite characters during meet-and-greets.
The Untrainable Dragon live show will feature Hiccup, Toothless, Gobber, and Astrid as they work together to solve a mystery with musical numbers and live-sized dragons. If all the excitement leaves you hungry, themed eateries like Mead Hall, Spit Fyre Grill, and Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel will be available for visitors to grab a bite to eat.
Universal has promised to reveal more details about the Isle of Berk and other lands in the Epic Universe theme park in the coming months. Other lands set to be featured in the park include Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, and Dark Universe.
