The entertainment lineup for the 2024 World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest has been announced, with events scheduled from May 15-18 at Liberty Park in Memphis, Tennessee. The festivities will kick off with the fan-favorite Barbecue Sauce Wrestling on Wednesday night at the Cattlemen’s Main Stage.
Throughout the rest of the event, attendees can enjoy live music performances from bands like Marcy Playground on Thursday, Ingram Hill on Friday, and DJ MicTee from K97 on Saturday. The Cattlemen’s Main Stage will be the hub for all of these exciting entertainment offerings.
Additionally, the Home Depot Outdoor Kitchen will offer meet and greets with pitmasters like Moe Cason, Joe Davidson, and Chris Lilly, as well as free samples from other barbecue experts. The McCormick Demo Stage will provide culinary tips and a chance to meet Rocky Stubblefield of Stubb’s Bar-B-Q Sauce.
For those looking to learn more about barbecue cooking techniques, the Cooker Caravan with Heath Riles BBQ will offer escorted tours on Thursday and Friday. Guests can also participate in the Kingsford Tour of Champions, where they can sample barbecue from different teams and cast their vote for the best.
