Rashada earned the starting quarterback position as a freshman, but his season was cut short by a knee injury that caused him to miss nine games. He returned for the season finale against rival Arizona, where he demonstrated his skills by throwing for 485 yards and four touchdowns with three interceptions on 44-of-82 passing in three games. Rashada originally committed to Miami, but later decommitted to play at Florida before transferring to Arizona State.
Due to offseason thumb surgery, Rashada was limited during spring drills. His future plans and destination after entering the transfer portal are yet to be determined.
